We know that 100% of 769 is, well, just 769.**Step 2:**If 100% of 769 is 769, then we can get 1% of 769 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 769 / 100. This is equal to 7.69. Now we know that 1% is 7.69.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 769 is, we just need to multiply it by 1 to get our solution! 7.69 times 1 = 7.69. That's all there is to it!
